Morris County's Most Dangerous Roads

Nearly half of the county's pedestrian fatalities during a recent three-year period occurred on Route 46, report says.

Route 46 accounted for nearly half of all pedestrian fatalities in Morris County over a recent three-year stretch, according to report released by the Tri-State Transportation Campaign.

There were six pedestrian fatalities on Route 46 in Morris County between 2009 and 2011, according to the report. A total of 13 pedestrians were killed in the county during those three years. However, eight of the deaths occurred in 2010 alone.
