• Jefferson School District Revises Phone Policy, JTHS to Implement Doorman App Program (tapinto.net) — Jefferson Township schools are tightening how student cell phones are handled this fall, with most grades continuing strict limits and Jefferson Township High School piloting the Doorman App to block distracting apps during the day. Teachers can temporarily lift restrictions for classwork, and exceptions remain for documented medical needs as students return on September 2. 
• Returning All-NJAC Field Hockey players for 2026 (nj.com subscription) — Two Jefferson Township High School field hockey players, senior Silvana Melone and junior Gabriella Fitzsimmons, are among the NJAC's returning standouts for the upcoming season. The conference coaches' lists highlight top athletes across all divisions, giving Jefferson fans a preview of who to watch on the turf this fall.
