Fun, food and fellowship are scheduled to set sail on Saturday, October
5th at the 2nd annual Pirate's Ball. This event, benefiting the Piedmont
Rape Crisis Center will be held at the Winder Community Center
beginning at 7:00 pm.. The evening for adults age 21 and over will
include dancing to Highway 211 Band, a BBQ dinner, a silent auction and a
boat load of frockling and jocularity. The price of admission is $35 or
only $50 for a couple. Tickets are available by calling PRCC at
770-586-5423 or Darryl Gumz at 770-605-6656. At the Ball, PRCC will draw
the winning tickets for thier current ongoing raffle of a customized
golf cart, 32" flat screen HD TV with a sound system, and $100.00 gift
card. Tickets for the raffle are $10 and can also be purchased at the
same numbers. Tickets at the door $40 - $60.00 couple.
