Teen Charged In School Threat: Jefferson Police
Police say the threat was not credible.

JEFFERSON, NJ — A Jefferson teen was arrested after making threats against the high school and its students, Jefferson police said.
A 17-year-old Jefferson High student was arrested on April 13 after making "threats towards the school and school population," police said. The threats were found to be non-credible. The teen, who they did not name, was arrested and charged with creating a false public alarm.
This is not the first time in recent months threats have been made against Jefferson schools. In early February, threats against the school were found to be just a rumor; two weeks later, two teens were charged with making threats.
