Victorian-Era Fashion Show, Animal Rescue Fundraiser

The Last Resort Rescue in West Milford hosts a garage sale fundraiser that kicks off Friday. Proceeds go to the effort, which literally saves animals' lives and leads to innocent dogs and cats finding forever families. The garage sale takes place Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at 2962 Route 23 North in Newfoundland.

Friday marks your last chance to grab tickets for sure to be spectacular "Miss Elizabeth's Closet." The Jefferson Township Historical Society event is a runway show featuring fashions from Jefferson's Victorian era. The elegant show, which includes a champagne reception, takes place Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Casa Bianca. Here's the catch: Tickets are $40 and must be purchased in advance.
