WATCH: In Honor Of Evan Murray
A video (see below) pays tribute to the Warren Hills, N.J. quarterback who died after he was injured in a football game.

Evan would have loved this.
In the days after 17-year-old Evan Murray’s death, one parent who knew the star quarterback took to YouTube to pay tribute to one of the greatest people they know (see video below).
Lauren Case, who said she is one of the wive’s of Evan’s football coaches, said she put this video together “because, like many, I just don’t know what to do in ... this time of heartache and tragedy.”

“I made this video using pictures I could gather from social media accounts,” she said. “If there are pictures/songs you would like added, I am more than happy to extend this tribute video. Please let me know, and please accept my deepest condolences to all of Evan’s loved ones.”

Morris County Medical Examiner Ronald Suarez, M.D., stated the cause of death was a laceration of the spleen. Suarez determined Murray’s spleen was abnormally enlarged, making it susceptible to injury. “There was no evidence of head trauma or heart disease,” Suarez said. The manner of death was accidental.
In the days since the community’s loss, a GoFundMe page has pulled in about $50,000, and an online petitions has garnered nearly 3,000 signatures in a call to the Warren Hills Regional High School District to rename its football field the Evan Murray Memorial Field.
Students went back to school Monday after grief counselors were made available throughout the weekend.
Murray’s death caught national attention, bringing well wishes and condolences from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and a handful of professional athletes from the sports world.
