JERSEY CITY, NJ — Five years after Food & Wine Magazine named Jersey City to its list of 11 "Next Great Foodie Cities," the publication has released another list that can make the city proud.

They noted the restaurant's "14 internationally influenced pizzas" with ingredients like Korean bulgogi and Jamaican jerk brisket.

The eatery soft opened in October 2024 on the city's west side, an area three miles from the more restaurant-heavy waterfront.

In 2017, the New York Times famously asked, "Is New York's Best Pizza in New Jersey?" in a piece about Razza Pizza and chef Dan Richter. Razza has since been named in numerous lists, and last year, Richter became a James Beard Semifinalist.

But not to worry — New York City also was represented on the list, with three entries.

The other restaurants making the cut were:

Food and Wine noted the cultural diversity among modern pizzerias.

"In the hands of ambitious, innovative pizza makers across the country, the format continues to evolve," they wrote.
