15-Year-Old Killed In North Jersey Shooting: Prosecutor
Jersey City police found the boy on Saturday night with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City police found a 15-year-old boy dead with an apparent gunshot wound on Saturday night after being called to the area of 112 Myrtle Avenue. on a report of shots fired, the county prosecutor's office said.
Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said that Devin Bryant, 15, of Jersey City, was found shortly after 8:20 p.m. with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso.
He was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead at approximately 9:10 p.m.

The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, prosecutors said.
