First Hudson County Snow Of Season Leaves Slight Accumulation: See Totals

The NWS reported snow accumulations in Hudson County and at Newark Airport. See the totals and what's coming up this week.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — It wasn't exactly a blizzard, but the first snow of the fall/winter season in North Jersey did leave some significant accumulations in areas, with 2.8 inches in one North Jersey town.

In Hudson County and at Newark Airport, there was a slight overnight snowfall into Monday morning, but could be seen on cars during the commute, especially those coming from colder areas.

North Caldwell: .5 inches Sunday by 5:40 p.m.

Hudson County

Harrison: 0.2 inches, 2:30 a.m.

Bergen County

Franklin Lakes: 2.8 inches, 12:45 a.m. Monday

Mahwah: .3 inches, 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

Washington Township: .5 inches, 6 p.m. Sunday

Passaic County

Wayne: .7 inches, 5:30 p.m. Sunday

What's Coming Up: Rain Thursday, And White Christmas?

What do you expect for this season? A White Christmas, perhaps? It's too early to tell, but in North Jersey, the temperatures are expected to dip to the high 20s at the end of the week.
