Flood Watch Issued For Hudson County Through Tuesday Morning Amid Nor'easter
"Roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes" may flood in Hudson County during the nor'easter, NWS says.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — An intense period of rain is predicted for Monday night as a nor'easter bears down on the Northeast, and the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch and Coastal Flood Advisory for Hudson County, as well as Essex and Union counties.
As much as 2 inches of rain could fall after 9 p.m. Monday. A similar circumstance last year during Tropical Depression Ida caused intense flooding, although more than 7 inches fell in some areas.
The Coastal Flood Advisory from 9 p.m. Monday night to 1 a.m. says:

"One to locally two feet of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.
"Minor to locally moderate coastal flooding is expected in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. A few spots may see moderate flooding with road closures, flooded vehicles, and basement flooding."

The prediction for Hudson County for Monday night says: "The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 42. Windy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible."
