Jersey City, NJ — On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Jack and Ronnie McGreevey Civic Association will host Helping the Homeless: Resources & Relief, day of outreach designed to serve families experiencing homelessness. The event begins at 1:30 PM and will take place at the York Street Project, located at 89 York Street, Jersey City, NJ.

The event will support over 100 families—many of them women with school-aged children—connected to the York Street Project. Attendees will have access to a wide range of essential services including housing assistance, medical, dental, and vision care, mental health counseling, food distribution, hygiene product giveaways, banking and credit repair support, as well as education and employment services.

Children will benefit from literacy and arts activities, access to baby essentials, school enrollment resources, after-school programs, and summer camp opportunities. The event will also feature pet therapy and local food vendors, creating a compassionate, community-centered space offering both relief and dignity.

Local organizations are encouraged to take part as service vendors. There is no fee to participate, and tables and chairs will be provided. Vendor setup begins at 12:30 PM. Interested organizations should RSVP by emailing jrmgevents@gmail.com
