Jersey City Woman Accused Of Stealing Mail From 2 Post Offices
Zyeama Johnson was charged with six counts of burglary of a post office in connection with the break-ins, prosecutors said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City woman is facing federal charges after prosecutors said she broke into two local post offices multiple times to steal mail.
Zyeama Johnson, 29, was charged with six counts of burglary of a post office, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey announced. Johnson appeared in court last week and was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
According to court documents, Johnson broke into a Hudson County post office four times in January and once in February. Prosecutors said she was previously employed at the post office but had been fired.

During each break-in, prosecutors said Johnson stole mail from the post office and loaded it into her car before driving away.
On Feb. 7, prosecutors said Johnson broke into a second post office and was arrested by police as she left the building.

If convicted, Johnson faces a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each charge.
