Man, 49, Shot To Death On Jersey City Corner

No arrests have been made in the shooting death of a man near a Jersey City corner Tuesday night.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 49-year-old man was shot to death near the corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Woodland Avenue in Jersey City Tuesday night, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.

Prosecutors said that the police department received a call at approximately 8:30 p.m. of shots fired near 1922 Kennedy Boulevard.

Juan Rodriguez, 49, was found with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center around 8:55 p.m., prosecutors said.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are
