New alliance boosts transparency and access in addiction treatment across New Jersey

Jersey City, NJ — July 7, 2025 — The New Jersey Coalition of Treatment Providers (NJCTP) and Shatterproof are proud to announce a strategic partnership aimed at transforming addiction treatment transparency, provider engagement, and public awareness through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting ethical, effective, and accessible behavioral health services across New Jersey and beyond.

Under this MOU, NJCTP and Shatterproof will work together to enhance the visibility and utilization of Treatment Atlas (treatmentatlas.org), a cutting-edge technology platform, designed by Shatterproof, to provide real-time, accurate information on addiction treatment providers nationwide. Treatment Atlas is a free and confidential resource to find and compare addiction treatment programs across the Nation.

The partnership emphasizes increasing provider participation, leveraging transparent patient reviews, and elevating public awareness to foster trust and accountability within the private treatment sector.NJCTP will utilize its network of treatment providers to promote Treatment Atlas and educate providers on the importance of transparent data and patient engagement. Shatterproof will provide platform support, resources, and lead public awareness campaigns to elevate the platform's profile.
