Senior Helpers of North Hudson Celebrates Grand Opening and Announces New Free Services for Veterans

North Bergen, NJ — February 20, 2026

Senior Helpers of North Hudson will celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday, February 20, bringing together community leaders, healthcare partners, families, and veterans from the North Hudson area.

The event marks the official opening of Senior Helpers of North Hudson as a new community resource focused on in-home care for older adults, with the goal of supporting seniors as they age safely, with dignity and independence, in their own homes.

Jonathan Pérez, founder of Senior Helpers of North Hudson and a United States military veteran, described the organization’s mission as deeply personal.

“Our seniors and our veterans have spent their lives serving others,” Pérez said. “This organization exists to serve them in return with compassion, respect, and genuine care.”
The Grand Opening will also include the announcement of a new complimentary service program specifically for veterans, designed to expand access to in home care for those who served the nation.

Alicia Pérez, owner of Senior Helpers of North Hudson, emphasized the organization’s commitment to local families.

“Caring for an aging loved one is one of the most important decisions a family can face,” Pérez said. “We are here to walk alongside families with trusted care and peace of mind.”
Families who have already received support describe the impact of the services as immediate and deeply meaningful.

“Senior Helpers didn’t just care for my mother—they cared for our entire family,” said María González, a North Hudson resident. “Knowing she was safe, well cared for, and treated with dignity made a tremendous difference in our lives.”
