'Dangerous' Man' Caught After 4 Shot, 1 Dead In North Bergen: PD
Prosecutors and police confirmed that a statewide manhunt was underway for an allegedly "armed-and-dangerous" North Bergen shooting suspect.

UPDATE: The"armed and dangerous" suspect who allegedly shot four people on Sunday, one of whom died, was caught in Pennsylvania, police and prosecutors annouced on Tuesday. Another victim remained in critical condition.
The suspect has been identified as Jonathan Haughey-Morales, 27, of West New York. He was charged with first-degree murder, and a warrant was issued for his arrest following the North Bergen shooting, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
He was caught in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, according to the HCPO.

Prosecutors said on Monday that Haughey-Morales should not be approached and he should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said. Prosecutors told Patch that he could be anywhere in New Jersey.
The incident happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. when the North Bergen Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at a house at 2033 46th St., according to the HCPO.

Upon arrival, officers found four people had been shot near the vestibule area of the house. Officers found an unresponsive man with an apparent gunshot wound to his torso, according to the HCPO.
The man, later identified as Carlos Garcia, 40, and the additional victims — two men and
one women — were all transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical
Center, according to the HCPO.
Garcia was pronounced dead at approximately 4:25 a.m. A 42-year-old man remained in critical condition Monday while another 42-year man and a 42-year-old woman were treated and released by the hospital. All of the victims are from North Bergen.
Haughey-Morales was also charged with three counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession
of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in violation.
