Inch Of Rain, 26 MPH Wind Gusts Now Forecast For Jersey City Due To Storm Ian
An updated forecast says the remnants of Hurricane Ian will bring wind gusts to Jersey City on Saturday and Sunday, and rain Saturday.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The latest prediction from the National Weather Service calls for an inch or more of rain in Jersey City throughout Saturday as the remnants of Tropical Storm Ian arrive. Wind gusts of 26 m.p.h. are also expected Saturday.
While Ian isn't going to smash into New Jersey from the sea like Superstorm Sandy did 10 years ago, a storm that weakens over land can still bring heavy wind and rain, as with the fatal Tropical Depression Ida only one year ago.
A potential rainfall map from the National Hurricane Center for the next three days stretches to the New York City area.
