Heavy Rain Predicted In Hudson County: Here's The Forecast

JERSEY CITY, NJ — After a storm spawned tornadoes and other extreme weather in Texas Monday, the National Weather Service is predicting hours of rainfall for the Hudson County area on Wednesday into Thursday, and wind gusts before that. READ MORE: Colossal Storm System Brewing
The National Weather service predicts for the Hudson County area up to 1.75 inches of rain over two days. While that's not as much as the 7 inches or more that fell in North Jersey during Hurricane Ida (and in a much shorter time period), it's a significant rainfall.

Wednesday Night: Rain, mainly after 7 p.m. Steady temperature around 45. East wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Thursday: Rain. High near 54. East wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
