• Bayonne Officials Join in Lawsuit Over Impact of Low-Flying Helicopters (tapinto.net) — Kearny is joining Bayonne, Hudson County, Jersey City, and Hoboken in a shared legal push to curb low-flying commercial helicopter traffic they say harms residents' quality of life. Under a regional agreement, Kearny is expected to take a leading role in the litigation, which will fund expert witnesses and challenge flight patterns affecting nearby communities.
