LACEY, NJ — Congressman Andy Kim will hold a town hall in Lacey centered around the decommissioning of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant. The town hall takes place at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Lacey Township Middle School (660 Denton Ave., Forked River).

Kim says he has received several concerns from residents regarding the decommissioning process. Questions have included safety, cost and citizens' involvement.

Several Lacey residents have told Kim that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission hasn't been responsive to local concerns about decommissioning the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
