Car Crashes Into Lacey House: Police

A driver lost control and crashed their car into a home on Constitution Drive in Lacey on Friday, according to Detective Lieutenant Chris Cornelius. The driver drove across the property at 371 Constitution Drive and hit the garage attached to the home, according to Cornelius.

There were no injuries in the 5 p.m. incident, according to police. The Township building inspector was requested to assure that the home's structure was safe, Cornelius said.

The unnamed driver, a 19-year-old West Milford resident, received a summons for careless driving, police said.
