BERKELEY, NJ — Election Day is Nov. 7, and Berkeley residents head to the polls to elect local and federal representatives.

Voters are able to vote by mail, early in-person and in-person on Election Day.

What And Who Are On The Ballot

  • State Senate - 9th Legislative District: Republican Berkeley Mayor Carmen Amato and Democrat Gabriel Franco are seeking the open seat.
  • General Assembly - 9th Legislative District: Republican incumbent Brian E. Rumpf and Stafford Mayor Gregory Myrhe are running on a ticket with Amato. Democrats Joseph Atura and Sarah "Sally" Collins are running with Franco. Also running is Barry Bendar under the Green Party.
  • Ocean County Surrogate: Vote one for a five-year term. Republican incumbent Jeffrey W. Moran is challenged by Democrat Charles D. Bauer.
  • Board of Commissioners: Vote one for a three-year term. Republican Frank Sadeghi and Democrat Roxanne L. Barnes are vying for one open seat.
  • Township Committee: Vote one for a three-year term. Republican incumbent PeggySue Juliano is challenged by Democrat Kaitlyn Triano.
  • Lacey Township Board of Education: Two seats are open for three-year terms. Incumbent Kimberly Klaus is running under the "Passionate Dedicated Determined" slogan. Incumbent Frank T. Palino is running under the slogan "E. Pluribus Unum." Daniel Bell is running under the slogan "For The Family."
