Forked River Rotary Club To Host Pro-Wrestling Fundraiser

LACEY, NJ — A pro-wrestling fundraiser has been organized at Lacey Township High School on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.

The event featuring top wrestlers from around the country and emerging talent from New Jersey will benefit the Rotary Club of Forked River.

“It’s completely G-rated family-oriented fun,” said event promoter Don Bucci, adding that there will be no graphic violence or cursing during the show.

The rotary club’s fundraiser was initially planned in March 2020, but was canceled last year due to the pandemic.

Hall of famer Mark Henry is among more than 10 wrestlers participating in the event. Henry had a 25-year career in WWE where he was a two-time world champion.

Tickets start at $20, and can be purchased online or at the door.

VIP tickets give people a front row seat to the show as well as a chance to come in early at 6 p.m. to meet wrestlers and get autographs for free. Each VIP ticket comes with a free autographed photo of Mark Henry.
