Lacey Girl, 11, Faces Fourth Cancer Fight: How You Can Help

The community is rallying around Reese Osmond, 11, as she faces her fourth cancer relapse. Here's how you can support her and her family:

LACEY, NJ — At just 11-years-old, Lacey resident Reese Osmond has gone through a lot. At just 2-and-a-half, she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). And earlier in March, her family found out that after almost two years in remission, her cancer had relapsed for a fourth time.

"We never thought we would be back here but here we are," her family shared on her Facebook page.

Currently, Reese is in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with her mother, Jordyn Osmond, as she goes through chemotherapy and immunotherapy. After this, Reese will have to get a bone marrow transplant this summer, her mother told Patch.

During this time, Osmond had to leave her job to be by her daughter's side, while her husband stays in Lacey, working and caring for their other daughter Ryleigh.

Osmond hopes to be home soon, but they will have to return to CHOP in June for the transplant. That will be about 30 days in the hospital, she said, and after they will stay in a Philadelphia apartment for 100 days.

In the meantime, the community is rallying around the family to support them in any way possible.

You can donate to the Osmond family through their Infinite Love For Kids Fighting Cancer page, which helps them financially.

A Meal Train was also created to feed the family both homemade meals and local takeout.

Finally, Reese also has an Amazon wish list, and items purchased will be delivered to the hospital.

And to those who look forward to Reese's annual lemonade stand - she's already planning this year's.
