LACEY, NJ — Jesse Wall loves being a Boy Scout, paddle boarding, assisting at Surf Unlimited on LBI and animals. After a nice swim with cousins, he began facing a significant challenge.

His mother, Cheyenne, noticed a large mass protruding from his stomach several weeks ago. Jesse was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma — a Stage 2 cancer putting him at intermediate risk — according to Lacey Kids for a Cure.

Lacey Kids for a Cure is putting on an "emergency" lemonade stand for Jesse, 12, from noon to 3 p.m. June 30 at the Lacey High School parking lot. The foundation features children ages 5-18 learning to positively influence the community.
