LACEY, NJ — A Lacey man was busted Sept. 6 after police suspected him of distributing crystal methamphetamine, police announced Friday. Joel A. Ord was found with about 70 grams and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution, authorities said.

Authorities executed a search warrant on the man's home in the 1100 block of Laurel Boulevard, said Lacey Police Chief Michael C. DiBella. Ord, 37, was charged with drug possession, intent to distribute drugs and drug-paraphernalia possession, DiBella said.

He was taken to the Ocean County Correctional Facility. The investigation began in August.
