Lacey Man Seriously Injured As Off-Road Vehicle Overturns: Police
The man was riding near the Parkway with a 15-year-old boy, who wasn't injured, according to police.
LACEY, NJ — A Lacey man suffered serious injuries after his off-road vehicle overturned Sunday near the Garden State Parkway, police said. The passenger, a 15-year-old boy, wasn't injured.
The man sustained "serious head and spinal injuries" and was airlifted, according to Lacey PD's weekly report. Police didn't publicly identify either involved party, and their relationship has not been disclosed.
The vehicle overturned in the woods at about 5:38 p.m. The accident took place at mile marker 71 southbound in the woods west of the parkway.

New Jersey State Police initially responded to the accident. The Lacey Township Detective Bureau is conducting a follow-up investigation.
