Lanoka Harbor Firefighters Rescue Kitten From Flooded Storm Drain
The kitten was taken in by a member's relative.
LACEY, NJ — A kitten trapped in a flooded storm drain is safe and sound thanks the Lanoka Harbor Fire Station 61.
LHFD received a call Friday evening about an animal trapped in the drain. Crews pumped out the two storm basins and found the kitten in the pipe between them.
Members tried to get the kitten out. They set up a caged trap with food. A member went back twice to see they finally secured the kitten.
