Lakewood Teen Found Safe: Police
The teen was located several hours after the search began Saturday evening, police said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Lakewood teenager who went missing on Saturday evening turned up safe on Sunday, Lakewood police said.
Chaim Shraga "Shragy" Scott, 17, was safely located in Paterson on Sunday, nearly 20 hours after he walked away from his Aspen Court home on Saturday afternoon, Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.
Authorities were trying to determine how he got to Paterson said.

"We would like to personally thank the New Jersey State Police, Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, Chaverim, LCSW and the many other volunteers who assisted in this long and extensive search," Staffordsmith said.
There was concern about his well-being because Scott is a diabetic, authorities said.

The search began Saturday evening with Lakewood police, New Jersey State Police, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and members of Chaverim and the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch conducting an extensive search of the area that continued until about 4:30 a.m., the Lakewood Scoop reported.
