Woman's Car Found; Lakewood Police Still Seek Carjacker
Police said the man was described as 6 feet tall and having blonde hair.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood police are still seeking information and tips on a man who smashed a woman's car window and carjacked her car Wednesday.
Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said the woman's car, a silver 2018 Hyundai Sonata, was found Wednesday afternoon in Jackson Township and police were processing it for evidence.
The man is described as being about 6 feet tall and having blonde hair, Staffordsmith said.

The man approached the car at Liberty Drive and Route 9 early Wednesday and asked for directions, then pounded on the car window until it broke. He got in the car and shoved the woman to the passenger side, and as the man started to drive off, the woman got out of the moving car. She suffered minor injuries in the process, Staffordsmith said.
