Enjoy The Great Outdoors In Lawrence Township With Bird-Watching

Participants can learn how to identify birds of the Nature Center and learn about their natural history this Saturday.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — With summer here, what better way to spend time than take an educational walk around Lawrence Township's many open spaces.

The Lawrence Township Environmental Education Foundation is hosting its first Saturday walk on July 2 at 8:30 p.m.

The bird-watching walk will be held at the Lawrence Nature Center which has a variety of habitats - meadow, forest, and stream - that make for a good diversity of bird species to observe. The walk starts at the meadow where one can easily spot birds and then proceeds to the forest.
