Lawrence Opens Public Buildings To Visitors, Lifts Mask Mandates

Unvaccinated visitors will be asked to wear a mask, but proof of vaccination is not required to enter the building, officials said.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — As positive COVID-19 cases continue to decline across the County, Lawrence Township announced it was opening its municipal buildings to the public, with a few safety protocols in place.

In a memo shared with staff, Municipal Manager Kevin Nerwinski said effective Wednesday, March 1, the Municipal Building will be open to visitors. The entrance and exit will continue to be restricted to the North entrance for visitors for now.

Municipal employees will no longer need to take their temperature on entering the building in the morning, Nerwinski said.
