Mercer's St. Patrick's Day Parade Postponed Due To Weather Forecast
The parade has been postponed by a week and will now take place on March 18.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hamilton, Mercer County has been postponed. The parade was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade will now take place on Saturday, March 18, with opening ceremonies beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the firehouse on Mercer Street and the Parade kicking off at 1 p.m.
Forecasters have predicted a wet weekend that could bring several inches of snow to parts of New Jersey on Friday along with widespread rain.

The storm coming east from the Midwest will likely turn into a wintry mix and snow for some NJ areas, while others will see rain. Precipitation will begin moving into New Jersey late Friday morning with "widespread rain" by the afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
This year’s St. Patrick's Day parade will be led by Grand Marshal Michael “Mick” Conboy. He will be joined by Steinert High School senior Eva Kelly who will serve as the 2023 parade’s Miss St. Patrick. The runner-up Miss St. Patrick, Gracyn Nutt, also a Steinert High School senior, will be part of the parade.
