Rider To Host 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Wednesday
The ceremony will take place in the plaza in front of Moore Library at Rider University, 2083 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Rider University will hold its annual memorial ceremony in remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 8:30 a.m., university officials announced.
The ceremony will take place in the plaza in front of Moore Library at Rider University, 2083 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville.
Dean of Rider's College of Continuing Studies Boris Vilic will lead the ceremony and Rider President Gregory G. Dell'Omo, Ph.D. will address the community.

Representatives of the university's Student Government Association will place a memorial wreath at the campus flagpole and read the names of Rider alumni who lost their lives in the tragedy while ringing a symbolic bell. A Rider student will perform the National Anthem.
All local police, fire and EMS departments are invited to attend the ceremony, which is expected to last about 30 minutes.
