An investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Trenton Police Department resulted in the charges, which implicate Wesley in four sexual assaults that all took place this year.

Wesley is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Elmer Street and cutting her neck and leg on March 31. She was able to get away but sustained a large laceration to her leg that required emergency surgery.

He is also accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Sept. 22 at a residence on Chestnut Avenue. Police allege he punched and choked the woman before locking her inside a second-story bathroom. She climbed out of the window after she heard Wesley leave the residence.

He is accused in two incidents alleged to have taken place on Nov. 17.

In the first incident, police say he sexually assaulted a woman and stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors. The victim received several sutures at a local hospital.

In the second incident, he is accused of sexually assaulting a woman, punching her in the face several times and strangling her. She was found in the area of South Clinton and Hamilton avenues. She had suffered multiple fractures to her face.

He was ultimately arrested on Dec. 3 after he was accused of sexually assaulting and stabbing a woman in Camden, the Courier Post reports. When police confronted him at his home, he was carrying a butcher’s knife and appeared intent on having police kill him.
