Calligraphy means “beautiful writing” and it is usually thought of as a traditional art form that requires precision and a lot of time to master. However, it can also be a playful and expressive personal practice!
In this workshop, we will use simple tools to learn the basic calligraphy strokes and how to turn those strokes into beautiful lettering. After a little practice, we’ll make posters inspired by words that are meaningful to us. This is a non-traditional and fun way to start using modern calligraphy to express your ideas.
