Join speaker Meg Wastie for a lively and entertaining look at the strange—and often hilarious—rituals athletes swear by in their quest to win. From quirky habits to deeply held beliefs, discover how superstition has played a surprising role in sports history.
You’ll hear stories like:
- The player who set his alarm for 33 minutes past the hour—and even scheduled his wedding for 3:33 pm.
- The champion who dominated his sport while hiding a secret beneath his baggy shorts.
- The legendary athlete nicknamed “Mr. Vomit,” whose pre-game routine kept trainers on standby with a bucket.
Full of fascinating anecdotes and unexpected humor, this program will change the way you think about what it takes to win.
