The Arts Council of Livingston Presents:
Denis Orloff is a self taught artist who studied the works of artists of the Hudson River School, especially George Inness, Fredrick Church and Albert Bierstadt. He historically has worked primarily in watercolor and has long been captivated by the beauty of natural light. He believes that portraying light is among the most challenging—and most rewarding—achievements an artist can pursue. In each of his works, Denis strives to capture those fleeting moments when light and nature meet, inviting viewers to share in the joy and serenity they create.
Orloff's work will be shown at the Municipal Building, 357 South Livingston Avenue, from Monday September 29, through October 28th. The opening reception will be on Tuesday, September 29, from 6:30–8:00 PM.
