October is Bone and Joint Health Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to learn how to protect your bone health.

Join us for an informative presentation covering the basics of bone function, osteoporosis, and the supplements commonly used to support healthy bones. Discover practical tips to help keep your bones strong and healthy at every stage of life.

This talk is being presented by clinical pharmacist Lucio Volino and pharmacy students Niranjana Ananth, Rebecca Donahue, and Sophie Gao.

Lucio earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at Albany College of Pharmacy, and completed a two-year, post-doctoral industry fellowship at Novartis Pharmaceuticals/Rutgers University. His current role as a Clinical Pharmacist involves managing an ambulatory care pharmacy practice site at Barnabas Health Retail Pharmacy – Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center where he supports clinical services and transitions of care initiatives.

This community health program is presented in cooperation with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and requires registration.  To register visit the events calendar at livingstonlibrary.org
