Livingston High Selects Presidential Scholars Candidates for 2016
See which six scholar-hopefuls will represent Livingston in the national competition.

Livingston, NJ – Six Livingston High School students were recently selected as candidates for the 2016 Presidential Scholars Program.
According to school administrators, the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars names up to 161 students as Presidential Scholars every year. Selected students “demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts, and career and technical education fields.”
The students nominated from LHS now join about 4,000 other candidates, school administrators stated.

The field will be narrowed down to 800 semi-finalists, with about 160 finalists honored in June in a ceremony at the White House.
Nominated students included Kuran Malhotra, Daniel Zhu, Kolade Lawal, Jacob Kaltman, Olivia Yao and Adam Chang.
