Livingston May Get 33 MPH Wind Gusts As Nor'Easter Ends; See How Much Rain Fell

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Activities were set to resume at Caldwell University and other Essex County schools Wednesday after some were canceled during Tuesday's nor'easter. However, forecasters say the tail end of the storm Wednesday could bring wind gusts to the area. And another storm is expected this Friday night.

The NWS forecast for Livingston and nearby towns said:

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 7 a.m. Mostly sunny, with a
high near 60. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. North wind 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Union counties through Tuesday night.

Flooding is predicted for some areas near the Passaic River.
