“Building upon our success servicing Livingston commuters over the last year, with the launch of our standard bus service, we’ve created a customized solution for residents who desperately need new ways to commute to Lower Manhattan,” said Erica Prince, senior transportation coordinator at OurBus. “We’re continuously listening to our customers and tailoring alternative commuting options to them, based upon what we hear. No solution is quite the same.”
OurBus is hoping to expand the pilot program to different locations, “depending on customer demand,” Prince said.
“The commute to Wall Street can be fraught with uncertainty, especially given the many delays that we face, as daily commuters,” said Matt Vickerman, Livingston resident and OurBus commuter, who requested the new van service.
According to the company, OurBus will bring their commuting service to any town/city in the United States, if there’s interest from a minimum of 100 potential commuters. Commuters can request routes by visiting OurBus.com or downloading the OurBus app.
