Livingston Resident Identified As Victim Of Fatal Shooting
Prosecutors said that a 30-year-old Livingston resident was pronounced dead at the scene of a fatal shooting in a New Jersey restaurant.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities continue to probe a fatal shooting at a Maplewood restaurant that claimed the life of a Livingston man this weekend, with no suspects identified as of the day after the incident, Essex County prosecutors said Monday.
Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelly told Patch that the shooting took place around 8:20 p.m. at 1553 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. He declined to name the specific restaurant.
Altariq A. Brown, 30, of Livingston, suffered fatal injuries during the shooting and was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:35 p.m., prosecutors said.

A police investigation is active and ongoing and no additional information is available at this time, Fennelly said Monday.
