Livingston’s Saint Barnabas Hospital To Offer Tours Of Cooperman Family Pavilion

The Saint Barnabas Medical Center plans to hold public tours of the Cooperman Family Pavilion during an event on Sept. 10 in Livingston.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Saint Barnabas Medical Center plans to hold a public tour and event on Sunday, Sept. 10 to celebrate its new, five-story, 241,000-square-feet Cooperman Family Pavilion.

According to an event posting from the Livingston-based hospital, tours will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road.

The event will include drawings, giveaways and a program at noon, organizers said.

Hospital administrators previously stated that the Cooperman Family Pavilion will include a floor dedicated to a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and new units on three floors offering all-private rooms.

The expansion was partly funded by one of the largest donations to a hospital in New Jersey history, a $25 million grant from the Leon and Toby Cooperman Family Foundation.

“The Cooperman Family Pavilion will be the cornerstone of our campus and essential to creating an all-private room hospital so that every patient will experience the dignity and comfort they deserve,” said Stephen Zieniewicz, FACHE, President and CEO, Saint Barnabas Medical Center. “It will be home to a world-class Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a new Surgery Center, new state-of-the-art nursing units and a host of modern and expansive outpatient testing areas."
