LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston High School students are organizing a school walkout on Wednesday, March 14 to protest gun violence, a report says.
LHS students are reportedly planning the walkout in solidarity with the #Enough national rally, which is being supported by the grassroots activist group that spearheaded the Women’s March on Jan. 21, 2017.
The walkout is slated to start at LHS around 10 a.m. More than 275 students have committed to attending, TAP Into Livingston reported. (Read the full article here)

If the student walkout on March 14 comes to fruition, Livingston won’t be the only Essex County school district to see a protest about gun violence.
In February, students at nearby West Orange High School held a peaceful walkout to show their support for the victims of the recent mass shooting in Parkland. The students won't be disciplined for the protest, the district's superintendent said.
