LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston residents headed to the polls for the 2019 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. In addition to statehouse and county races, voters chose representatives on their local town council.
Livingston residents also voted on school board representatives. See those results.

LIVINGSTON TOWN COUNCIL
There was an unexpired town council seat up for grabs in Livingston.

With 26 of 26 districts reported, it appears that - pending official certification - Michael Vieira has emerged victorious.
According to the Essex County Clerk’s Office, the unofficial results are:
- Brandon Minde - 2,121 (43.68%)
- Michael Vieira - 2,731 (56.24%)
A showdown was set between Vieira, a Democrat who captured 715 votes in the June primary election, and Minde, a Republican who captured 275 votes.
