Livingston's Top 10 Teachers: Schools Honor Standout Educators

Livingston, NJ – It’s no secret that Livingston has some of the best teachers in New Jersey.

The district’s educators have been regularly recognized in national ranking studies, such as a recent Niche.com survey that placed Livingston’s schools at #27 in the U.S.A.

But recently, school officials gave some well-deserved recognition to 10 of the district’s standout educators for 2016 via its Teachers of the Year awards.

“This year’s 10 award winners possess exceptional and varied educational gifts, reflecting the rich tapestry that comprises the township’s teaching talent,” school administrators stated.

The nominated teachers include:

• Burnet Hill Elementary School - Tara Freeman
• Collins Elementary - Sandra Criscenzo
• Harrison Elementary - Michele Matten
• Hillside Elementary - Pamela Richmond
• Mt. Pleasant Elementary - Susan Tannler
• Riker Hill Elementary School - Karen Montalto
• Mt. Pleasant Middle School - Aleksandr Sadiwnyk
• Heritage Middle School - Jamie Wolek
• Livingston High School - Jason Daily
• Educational Services Professional - Jennifer Kelner
