Lunar New Year Festival To Be Held Saturday In Essex County

The Millburn/Short Hills Chinese Association will host the celebration in honor of Lunar New Year/Year of the Tiger, on Saturday.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The Millburn/Short Hills Chinese Association and the Millburn Institute of Talent are hosting the Lunar New Year Festival in honor of the Year of the Tiger this Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m. in Millburn.

The festival will have food, performances, a Chinese calligraphy demonstration, children's games, and more.

The rain date is the following Saturday, March 12.

Millburn Avenue will be closed from Spring Street to Main Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shopper parking lots and spots will be free of charge all day on March 5. Time limits still apply. See parking updates here.
