Mercedes Benz Stolen While Being Serviced In Livingston

A car was stolen while being serviced at a Livingston gas station, police say, and was found in the next county.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A Mercedes Benz was stolen from a gas station while being serviced earlier this month, police said — so apparently, it ran well enough to get out of town.

Police said that on July 6, Livingston officers responded to the Livingston Sunoco, 247 South Livingston Ave., on a report of a stolen motor vehicle.

The staff told police that a customer's 2021 Mercedes Benz was in for service and was stolen from the parking lot while being serviced.
