The move was reportedly expected to take place in mid-to-late 2027. However, a spokesperson told Patch on Thursday that the relocation will take place in August 2026.

The bookseller’s new store will be located at a former Buy Buy Baby location, which housed a Spirit Halloween pop-up store last year.

The Livingston Mall has seen an exodus of big-name tenants over the past few years, with many shoppers reporting that the once-bustling shopping center is eerily vacant these days.

Recently, Macy’s confirmed it will be closing more than a dozen stores as part of its latest round of cuts, including its store at the Livingston Mall. The closure will take place “soon,” according to the company’s website, although no date is listed.
